Transformative Power

The past few months have been a remarkable testament to God’s faithfulness, as we have continued to witness His transformative power in our lives and in the communities that we serve.

New Beginnings and Growth

We joyfully welcomed two precious new young additions to our team with two of our long serving team members getting pregnant and giving birth at a similar time. For one of the couples from our team their child was a promise they had waited and believed for for over 7 years! We continue to thank Jesus for the fulfilment of His promises in our lives.

Chomno Café: A Beacon of Hope

In late April, we celebrated the grand opening of Chomno Café, which has quickly become a vibrant hub for ministry activities and team gatherings. This space has also emerged as a sanctuary for Christian groups and ministries to meet, pray, and fellowship. Situated in a challenging area of the city, the café provides a critical base for our street outreach team. We recently launched a “Pay It Forward” Community Cup initiative, and we are deeply encouraged by the generosity of supporters who are blessing those in need within our community.

Riverside Discipleship Group

A long-held vision came to fruition in May with the launch of weekly discipleship meetings for the riverside community. These gatherings provide a vital space for new believers, many of whom are homeless or live in cramped conditions, to grow in faith. The availability of Chomno Café has also facilitated one-on-one discipleship sessions and English classes, particularly for women from the red-light districts. One notable story involves a 13-year-old girl who, permitted to leave her workplace only for these classes, now has a safe space to learn and grow. Our red-light outreach team continues to diligently pursue meaningful connections with women in these areas, guided by God’s leading.

International Rescue and Restoration

Our team recently played a pivotal role in an international trafficking case, partnering with an NGO to rescue a South American woman from a compound where she was coerced into scamming others. Through God’s provision and a series of miracles, we secured her safe return to her home country in South America. It was such a wonderful testimony of Jesus’ provision as she was reunited her with her son, had her debts cleared and was even given some extra funding to help facilitate her enrolment in nursing school. This powerful testimony reminds us of God’s redemptive love and commitment to holistic restoration.

Transformative Impact

We are witnessing profound changes in those engaging with our Bible studies and discipleship programs. Some are joyfully sharing how God has replaced anger and violence in their hearts with peace and hope. Our youth soccer program, serving boys from the streets, celebrated their first competitive game. Though they did not win, the boys demonstrated sportsmanship and increased patience. Their growing openness to Jesus is a big encouragement to us. Each soccer outreach session begins with prayer and an encouragement from the scriptures aiming to bring hope into what are some very difficult living circumstances for many of these boys.

Child Protection and Healing

Our social work team has facilitated the rescue of several children from dangerous situations. One such case involved a 15-year-old girl, B, who endured repeated trauma since the age of seven. She is now in a safe environment, receiving the care and support necessary for her healing journey. We ask for your continued prayers for her and others like her.

United in Prayer and Worship

In June, we hosted our first all-night prayer and worship event in collaboration with local ministries. This powerful gathering united churches and organizations passionate about seeing Cambodia transformed by God’s love. Prayer and worship remain the heartbeat of our ministry, grounding all that we do.

Trusting in God’s Provision

We remain wholly dependent on God’s daily miracles to address the complex challenges we face. Financially, our needs often exceed our resources, yet God has consistently provided at just the right moments. Your faithful support—through prayers, encouragement, and generosity—enables us to continue this vital work!

Thank you!

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for our new babies as they grow and thrive, and for their families.

  • Lift up the Chomno Café, that it may continue to be a light in the community and a resource for outreach.

  • Intercede for the riverside and other discipleship groups, that new believers would grow strong in their faith.
